Mid-season nitrogen and potassium applications were evaluated for their utility in Louisiana cotton production. Fertilizer treatments were applied either during the first week of bloom or the third week of bloom. Urea was used for the nitrogen source and muriate of potash was used for the potassium source, and urea and potash were either applied alone or in combination at each application timing.
