Nitrogen and potassium are the most limiting nutrients in cotton production in Arkansas. They also represent a significant portion of the production costs needed to maximize yield potential. We will present data showing the nitrogen rate needed to maximize yield potential during 10 growing seasons. Results of a long term potassium rate study will also be presented.
