PHY 222 WRF: A Very Early Maturing Variety for the High Plains

PHY 222 WRF is a high yielding new variety from PhytoGen Cottonseed, possessing a very early maturity profile, superior fiber quality and agronomic characteristics suitable for the High Plains region.  It was tested widely in PhytoGen Innovation Plots, on-farm trials, and Extension and University trials in 2013 and 2014, with commercial units sold in 2014.  Large scale commercial launch is scheduled for the 2015 cotton growing season.
