PHY 417 WRF, a Root Knot Nematode Resistant Variety for Southwest Cotton Producers

PHY417WRF is a new root-knot nematode resistant variety available from PhytoGen Cottonseed.  This variety was widely tested in university official variety trials and PhytoGen Innovation Plots in 2013-2014 and had limited on-farm exposure in 2014.  This variety exhibits first-in-class root-knot nematode resistance, excellent seedling vigor, and superior yield in known root-knot nematode fields.  This variety will be available for the 2015 season.
