Palmer amaranth seed herbivory was evaluated throughout the growing season in cotton fields in Tifton, GA.  We found a great deal of variation in herbivore activity from three different types of seed traps that were deployed.  Seed recovery ranged from 0 to 100%, with high rates of herbivory occurring in the late summer and low rates in the early spring.
