A Principle Components Study of Yarn Strength in Upland Cotton

Advanced Fiber Information System (AFIS) was used to collect extensive data on fiber properties in a large population of upland cotton. Using spun fiber samples from each line, a principle components analysis examined the role and contribution of various fiber properties in yarn strength and overall yarn quality.
