Evaluating Planting Parameters for Fields with Highly Variable Soil Electrical Conductivity

Results presented from a research project focused on planter parameter selection based upon in-field measurement of soil properties to create parameter management zones. Soil EC along with NIR and Red color values were collected. Planter downforce settings were adjusted throughout the field and emergence data were collected in each zone.
