Fusarium Race-4 Upland Screening and Evaluation

This presentation is a continuation to last years’ presentation.  In 2018, O&A Enterprises screened more than 5,000 Upland cotton germplasm  lines using our Site Specific Mass Screening (SSMS) Protocol.  The 5,000 germplasm lines were cultivars from all state, federal, and private cotton breeders, partially funded by Cotton Incorporated. Results of those germplasm lines were reported last year at the Beltwide Cotton Conference.

In 2019, O&A Enterprises is screening over 2,000 germplasm lines. Lines advanced from last years SSMS Protocol were advanced to our Verification Protocol. I will report on the results from this years Verification test as well as the testing procedure used. I will also report on any new promising lines from 2019’s SSMS testing.
