Evaluation of planting cotton into crimson clover cover crop and its nitrogen contribution to cotton. Biomass was collected at different termination timings of crimson clover around cotton planting.  Different side dress nitrogen rates were applied at first square. SPAD measurements and petiole samples were collected at first flower, 1 and 2 weeks after first flower to quantify cotton nitrogen content. Cotton harvest occurred when possible in fall 2018 and in October of 2019. Data analysis will occur in fall 2019.
