Weed Management and Economics in Bollgard II Xtendflex Cotton Systems

Efficacy and economics of weed management techniques are being reevaluated as glyphosate resistant Palmer amaranth continues to be a problem in cotton production.  With the release of Bollgard II XtendFlex cotton, efficacy of dicamba (XtendiMax) is being compared to other herbicides such as glufosinate (Liberty) and glyphosate (Roundup) to find the most effective weed management strategy. The field trial is being done in Lubbock, Texas in 2018.
