Fuel Use Audits in Cotton Gins

Energy use was monitored in commercial gins throuughout the ginning season beginning in 2010. This paper presents new findings from this long-term study. Specific results are presented on the energy used by the fans providing air for seed cotton conveying and drying and by gin stands.
