This study evaluates some representative accessions of each species from the Burkina Faso collection in comparison to five cultivated breeding varieties from C4 countries plus Togo. The objectives are to i) observe the comparative level of fiber quality components within the collection, and ii) identify accessions from the collection with fiber properties that have the potential to further enhance quality of african cultivated cotton varieties.
