Harvest aids are used extensively in the Texas High Plains and Northern Panhandle regions of Texas in order to preserve yield and quality of high yielding cotton.  Use of ppo inhibitors, such as Display, has increased in recent years where small grains are in close proximity.  Research was initiated in fall 2013 to determine the efficacy of Display as a defoliant/desiccant for use under cooler environmental conditions observed in these regions.
