A field study was initiated in 2013 to determine the effect of cultural practices (planting date and seeding rate) on the performance of cotton varieties with differing reactions to Verticillium wilt and relative maturity. Treatments included an early (April 22), mid (May 12) and, late (May 22) planting dates with seeding rates of 4 and 2 seed per foot.  The varieties included FM 9180B2F, FM 2484B2F, DP 0912B2RF and Phy 499WRF.
