Plant water stress, insect seasonality, and plant sensitivity are environmental factors that affect cotton fleahopper injury to cotton plants.  A two year field experiment manipulating these factors was conducted (Corpus Christi and Lubbock, Texas), with the goal to improve understanding of the conditions that may result in economic damage.
