Offering Two Powerful Weed Control Traits for Cotton Growers: A New GlytolŪ LibertyLinkŪ and Bollgard IIŪ Double-Stacked Herbicide Variety From Bayer CropScience with Full Tolerance to Glyphosate and Glufosinate

BX 1244GLB2 is an experimental variety being evaluated by Bayer CropScience throughout the Cotton Belt for commercial release in 2012. It will be the first GlytolŪ LibertyLinkŪ and Bollgard IIŪ cotton variety not only targeted for the Texas market, but the East as well. Its performance in breeder trials and 2011 Bayer Cotton Agronomic Performance Trials (CAPs) indicate it to be a very high yielding variety with both glyphosate and glufosinate herbicide tolerance.
