This paper summarizes efficacy trials of sulfoxaflor in China, India and Pakistan.  Development of sulfoxaflor to manage sap-feeding pests of cotton in Asia began in 2007.  Sulfoxaflor has shown excellent activity in the field against plant bugs (Lygus spp.), jassids (Amrasca and Empoasca spp.), cotton aphid (Aphis gossypii), and mealybugs (Pseudococcus spp.).
