Trials were conducted to evaluate glufosinate tolerance of a number of cotton varieties containing the Widestrike insect protection trait. These varieties were compared agronomically to varieties containing the Liberty Link trait which provides complete tolerance to glufosinate herbicide. This trial was conducted over five locations in three Mid-South cotton producing states. Results will be highly anticipated considering the severe infestation of glyphosate resistant pigweed in these areas.
