New Cotton Varieties for West Texas From Bayer CropScience

This paper will contain an introduction of one to potentially three new cotton varieties, depending on variety advancement decisions that will be made later this season.  These varieties will be primarily adapted to West Texas.  The varieties may have Bayer’s new GlyTol^® technology or one may potentially have the Bollgard II^® with Roundup Ready^® Flex technology.  Variety background, maturity, phenotypic traits, fiber characteristics and agronomic traits will be discussed relative to standard varieties.
