TransformTM: Field Performance Against Lygus hesperus In Cotton

Sulfoxaflor (Transform^TM) is the first insecticide from the new sulfoximine chemical class and is proprietary Dow AgroSciences chemistry. Field performance of Transform^TM against Lygus hesperus was evaluated from 2006 to 2010. Small replicated trials were conducted in western United States cotton in Arizona, California and Texas. Efficacy on Lygus hesperus and other attributes of Transform^TM will be presented and discussed. Transform^TM has an important fit in IPM programs and will be a valuable rotational partner with other chemistries and as a tool to manage insect populations resistant to other insecticides.
