Weed Management Systems for Palmer Amaranth Control in Alabama Cotton

Preemergence herbicides including Prowl H2O, Staple LX, Cotoran, Solicam, and Reflex were applied after planting Phytogen 375 WRF cotton on farm in a field where glyphosate-resistant palmer amaranth was present.  These treatments were followed by postemergence over-the-top applications of Roundup Powermax, Ignite, Staple, and Dual Magnum.  Applications of Valor, MSMA, Ignite, Roundup Powermax, and Envoke were applied in layby applications.  Weed control was evaluated following all applications.
