Comparison of Growth Parameters of Pix, PixPlus, Mepiquat 90WDG, Mepiquat 90WDG Plus

A field trial comparison was done during the 2009 cotton growing season to compare the standard Pix and PixPlus products to two new dry mepiquat formulations. The test was replicated 6 times in random block formation. The rates for applications were determined by MEPRT (mepiquat rate simulator computer program). Timing started at MHS, then every 9 days thereafter for a total of four applications. Ratings taken to date were height, main stem nodes, H/R ratio. H/N ratio in final data showed the dry products were numerically lower than the liquid products. Statistical analysis will be presented on the poster.
