Cotton Precision Farming Technology Adoption in Texas

The objective of this paper is to report Texas cotton producers’ responses to the 2009 Southern Cotton Precision Farming Survey.  A mail survey of 13,783 cotton producers in twelve southern U.S. states was conducted from February to March of 2009. Out of the 1,692 respondents, 780 are in the state of Texas.  And, this is the first survey conducted on the status of precision farming technology adoption in Texas.
