The effects of seed and soil applied insecticides on twospotted spider mite on cotton were tested.  Twelve field trials and one lab trial were conducted to determine differences in density and fecundity when cotton was treated with various insecticides.  In general, neonicotinoid seed treatments increased mite densities above aldicarb, acephate, and untreated cotton.
