During the roller ginning process there is always a small percentage of unginned seed cotton that passes by the roller and goes with the ginned cotton seed.  This seed cotton is called carryover and is reclaimed and put back into the seed cotton stream to be ginned.  With the advent of high speed roller ginning of upland cotton, there is a need to develop an improved seed cotton reclaimer for use with higher roller ginning rates.  This paper covers the development process for an improved seed cotton reclaimer.
