An experiment was set up in 2007 and 2008 to determine the efficacy of nectariless cotton varieties on reducing seasonal abundance of tarnished plant bug.  Tarnished plant bugs were sampled weekly from square initiation through flowering by sweep net or drop cloth sampling.
