Gossypol Expression on Cotton Seed and Its Influence on Heliothine Attack, Part I: Rationale and Project Implementation

Twelve varieties expressing different levels of gossypol throughout the plant were screened for their susceptibility to the tobacco budworm and bollworm. Key results will be discussed.
