Cotton Spinner-Breeder Symposium
The Spinner-Breeder Symposium explores ways to help fiber producers and textile spinners work together to develop better raw materials for manufacturing more competitive fiber and textile products, and to make bigger profits for all. Domestic cotton production needs to be prepared to follow lost spinning markets overseas in the short run, and to develop new products and markets for cotton and cotton byproducts that will help rebuild the U.S. processing industries for the future.
