Field-scale variability in fiber quality and yield are crucial components of overall profitability. While many researchers have quantified spatial variation in yield using precision agriculture techniques, few have done so with fiber quality. Data collected in this trial will include spatial variability in fiber quality, yield, soil electrical conductivity, and soil test results. Correlations of these parameters with fiber quality, yield, and loan value will be investigated to identify possible management inputs and techniques that will maximize profitability.
