The 2020 National Cottonseed Treatment Program evaluated cotton seedling survival for 13 nominated fungicide seed treatment combinations, 3 fungicide seed treatment controls and a nontreated check at 10 locations. Disease ratings and pathogen isolations for seedlings and soil populations of selected soilborne genera (Fusarium spp., Pythium spp., Rhizoctonia solani, and Thielaviopsis basicola) were conducted by collecting seedlings and soil from the nontreated control plots at each location. Soil temperature and plant development data also were collected for all locations encompassing the 2020 National Cottonseed Treatment Program.
