Unmanned Aircraft systems have evolved significantly in the past few years. Platforms and sensors are becoming affordable and user friendly. In this presentation we will discuss the use of vegetation indices such as those derived from RGB and/or Multispectral sensors and maturity index to determine time of defoliation. Plant growth and health parameters can be used to adjust rate of chemical application.
