Domesticated cotton is currently under threat from the devastating fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Vasinfectum race 4 (FOV4) that causes fusarium wilt.  This pathogen is nematode independent and has spread throughout the San Joaquin Valley, moved through Texas, and is spreading at an uncontrolled rate to the east.  In this presentation, we will discuss quantitative, genomic, and molecular approaches to decipher the genetic architecture of resistance.
