The poster will present data as related to the response of the cotton cultivars in the 2020 Mississippi State University Official Variety Trial (OVT). Cotton cultivars were inoculated with a suspension of the bacterium that causes bacterial blight. The cultivars were evaluated multiple times post-inoculation to determine their response to inoculation. Yield was collected at the end of the season and comparisons made between bacteria-inoculated and non-inoculated cotton plots to determine the impact of bacterial blight on yield.
