Target spot is a foliar disease in Tennessee cotton production. The disease can cause issues with defoliation and lead to yield loss in occasions when severity is high. The objective of this study is to evaluate different fungicide classes on the control of target spot at the field level, as well as at the isolate level. Field trials were set up from 2018-2020 evaluating the control of target spot with multiple fungicides and mixes across two varieties with different susceptibility to target spot. Isolates were collected in the field, and they were amended with differing rates of technical grade fungicide to determine the efficacy at the isolate level.
