Rotylenchulus reniformis, the reniform nematode, can be a severe yield reducer in fields where populations are greater than the economic threshold.  Effects of this pest are observed throughout the cotton growing areas of the southern United States.  Field trials were established during 2019-2020 at the Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville, MS to determine the benefits of resistant cultivars and commercial seed treatment combinations in managing the reniform nematode.
