The purpose of this system was to evaluate the impact of planting date on bollworm incidence in cotton.  Cotton was planted in Virginia North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia on three to four planting dates (early, mid-, late) that are representative of cotton grown in that region. Squares and bolls were checked for damage and incidence of bollworm larvae throughout the season until no larvae were detected.
