Soil Health Benefits in Long-Term Conservation Cotton Systems

The focus of the presentation will be soil health indicators, primarily microbial, as impacted by various conservation tillage and cover crop strategies. Conservation tillage includes no-till and strip-till, cover crops include grass and legume monocultures and mixed species. Results from dryland, pivot irrigated, and subsurface drip irrigated cotton systems will be presented.
