Southern  root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) is an important and widespread problem for cotton producers in Georgia.  Management opportunities for this pest are increasing with the release of new resistant varieties and the development of new nematicide products to include seed treatments and in-furrow liquid products.  This paper will discuss the research efforts and the ensuing recommendations to growers that follow from the findings.
