Effect of Cultivar on Tarnished Plant Bug, Lygus lineolaris, Populations in Cotton

Tarnished plant bug populations were monitored in a large plot trial on 7 cotton cultivars that exhibited some level of resistance in small plots in previous years. A known susceptible cultivar was also monitored as a check. While all cultivars did have treatable plant bug infestations, some did require fewer insecticide applications for tarnished plant bugs.
