Conservation management practices have been shown to increase soil properties but concerns regarding yield drag still exist. This research attempts to answer these concerns with adaptive nitrogen applications. Discussion of results will include lint yield, nitrogen partitioning within the cotton plant, decomposition of cover crop residues, and soil nitrogen availability.
