Pest Management Considerations in Midsouth Cotton Production Systems That Incorporate Soil & Water Conservation Practices

I will summarize results from field experiments conducted to evaluate and expand implementation of integrated pest management (IPM) tactics in NE Arkansas cotton production systems that incorporate conservation tillage practices including winter cover crops. Project focus has been to identify/validate pest management tactics that economically minimize pest risks while adequately preserving soil and water conservation benefits.
