Evaluation of Root-Knot Nematode Resistant Cotton Varieties in East Georgia

Four commercially available cotton varieties with resistance to root-knot nematode and one variety without resistance were evaluated at two locations on the Southeast Research and Education Center in Midville, Georgia. Both locations showed moderate to high levels of root-know nematode populations in soil samples taken post harvest in 2017. Both locations are large-plot trials with 4 row plots approximately 500 foot in length. Experiments were planted in a randomized complete block design consisting of three replications. One location was planted early May with the second location planted mid June.
