The main objective of this research was to evaluate phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) fertilizer sources, application methods and rates. Evaluated at New Deal, TX, in 2017 and 2018, treatments consisted of Intelliphos 45 (3-38-0) and 32 (0-24-8) applied through subsurface drip at different rates (2, 4, and 6 GPA), and knife-injected ammonium polyphosphate (10-34-0) at a single rate. Differences in lint yield and fiber quality between the P and K fertilizer treatments will be determined.
