Gyphosate-resistant (GR) weed species present a great challenge for weed control in cotton. In recent years, genetically modified (GM) crops tolerant to Clarity (dicamba) have become more popular in the Mid-South to combat GR weeds. In 2018, a field study was conducted at the Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville, MS, to evaluate the response of cotton to low rates of Clarity at three growth stages (three- to four-leaf, squaring, and flowering). Clarity was applied at 1/16X and 1/32X rate of a 1X labeled rate (16 fl oz/A). A nontreated check was included.
