Part of the reason for the lack of variable rate irrigation technology is the lack of methods to develop dynamic prescriptions for irrigation amounts. We evaluated using normalized difference vegetative index (NDVI) to estimate crop coefficients in a cotton study with different seeding rates. Studies were conducted in Florence, SC under a commercial variable rate irrigation system. Water potential and yield data from 2017 and 2018 will be reported.
