End of season cotton blooms were tagged to determine fruit retention, boll maturity, yield, and fiber quality for cotton cultivars in replicated irrigated and dryland variety trials established near San Angelo, Texas.  First position white blooms were tagged in late August and early September of 2016.  Observed differences in variety, flowering date, yield, and fiber quality will be presented.
