Cotton has a very high K requirement.  Advances in production practices and new technology are constantly increasing cotton yields and crop N requirement. Accurate soil test based K fertilizer recommendation is the most effective tool for predicting crop K fertilizer need.  Field studies were conducted at seven locations to evaluate seedcotton yield response to potassium fertilizer application rate.
