Lummus Corporation, as part of its continuous product development and improvement program, evaluated a variety of its products during 2017.  The results from two specific testing sites are presented.  The first project was an analysis of Lummus’ newest concept in seed cotton drying, while the second was a side-by-side comparison of the current-production high-capacity Lummus saw gin versus a new Lummus saw gin configuration.  Both studies were conducted in commercial gins under typical operating conditions, so that results would be seen as practical from a “real world” perspective.
