Effect of nitrogen (N) application rate on cotton yield and fiber quality in irrigated and rainfed cotton were studied in a humid climate for two seasons. Experiments were set up in two irrigation regimes, irrigated and rainfed. Within each irrigation regime a Randomized Complete Block (CRB) design was employed with five N treatments and three replications. Cotton yield and fiber quality data were collected. Relationship among N application rate, leaf N, yield, and fiber quality was statistically analyzed. Results will be reported in this paper.
