Select cultivars of Upland and Pima cotton previously observed to have low, moderate and relatively high tolerance to damage from Race 4 Fusarium oxysporum (FOV-4) were planted at an infested field site at 7 to 14 day intervals to evaluate interactions between heat unit accumulations at 14 and 28 days after planting and (a) survival percentage; (b) foliar damage; and (c) root vascular staining indicative of FOV-4 infection.
